Certificate Policy

Effective Date: June 1, 2026

1. Purpose

This Certificate Policy establishes the standards, requirements, issuance procedures, verification methods, renewal requirements, and revocation criteria governing certificates issued by the Intelligence Training & Analysis Center ("ITAC"), operated by INTELEST Global, LLC.

This Policy applies to all learners participating in ITAC educational programs, events, webinars, assessments, certification pathways, and professional development activities.

2. General Principles

ITAC certificates are issued to recognize participation, completion, demonstrated achievement, verified competency, or successful completion of professional certification requirements.

ITAC certificates:

  • Are not academic degrees;
  • Do not confer university credit;
  • Are not professional licenses;
  • Are not government-issued credentials;
  • Do not establish employment eligibility;
  • Do not guarantee professional qualifications recognized by third parties.

Certificates represent achievement within the scope of ITAC educational programs only.

3. Certificate Categories

3.1 Certificate of Attendance

A Certificate of Attendance may be issued to learners who participate in designated webinars, workshops, seminars, conferences, live events, or similar educational activities.

Attendance requirements are determined individually for each activity.

3.2 Certificate of Completion

A Certificate of Completion may be issued upon successful completion of all required course components.

Unless otherwise specified, completion requires one hundred percent (100%) completion of required course content.

No examination or assignment requirement is necessary unless explicitly stated within the course description.

3.3 Certificate of Achievement

A Certificate of Achievement may be awarded to learners who successfully complete designated practical assignments, projects, exercises, or instructor-reviewed activities.

Achievement certificates recognize demonstrated performance beyond simple course completion.

3.4 Certificate of Competency

A Certificate of Competency may be awarded to learners who successfully complete designated competency assessments associated with a training track or professional development pathway.

Competency assessments evaluate the learner's ability to apply acquired knowledge and skills in practical or professional contexts.

Unless otherwise specified, competency examinations require a minimum passing score of eighty percent (80%).

3.5 Professional Certificate

A Professional Certificate represents the successful completion of a designated ITAC professional training track.

Professional Certificate requirements may include:

  • Completion of all required courses within the track;
  • Successful completion of practical assignments;
  • Successful completion of designated examinations;
  • Fulfillment of any additional program-specific requirements.

Professional Certificates represent the highest level of certification currently available within an ITAC training pathway.

4. Issuance Requirements

Certificates are issued only after all applicable program requirements have been satisfied.

ITAC reserves the right to verify completion records, assessment results, assignment outcomes, participation records, and other supporting information before issuing any certificate.

Certificates remain the property of ITAC and may be modified, corrected, suspended, or revoked where necessary.

5. Certificate Information

Issued certificates may contain:

  • Learner name;
  • Certificate title;
  • Issue date;
  • Expiration date;
  • Verification ID;
  • Authorized ITAC identifiers;
  • Other certification information determined by ITAC.

Certificate information must accurately reflect the learner's identity and educational achievement.

6. Certificate Validity

Unless otherwise stated, all ITAC certificates remain valid for a period of two (2) years from the date of issuance.

After the expiration period, certificates shall be designated as expired.

Expired certificates do not represent active certification status.

Historical records of expired certificates may continue to be maintained by ITAC.

7. Certificate Renewal

Where renewal is available, learners may apply for certification renewal following expiration.

Renewal requirements may include:

  • Re-examination;
  • Updated competency assessments;
  • Program-specific requirements;
  • Additional educational activities.

ITAC reserves the right to modify renewal requirements at any time.

Successful renewal shall result in issuance of a new certification period.

8. Certificate Verification

ITAC provides certificate verification services.

Verification requests may be submitted to: academy@intelest.global

Verification requests should include:

  • Certificate holder's name;
  • Verification ID.

ITAC may request additional information when necessary to confirm certification records.

Verification responses may confirm:

  • Certificate status;
  • Certificate category;
  • Issue date;
  • Expiration date;
  • Current validity status.

9. Corporate Training Certificates

Certificates issued through organizational, corporate, institutional, or government training programs may be issued:

  • To individual participants;
  • To organizations;
  • Or both, where applicable.

Additional certification requirements may be established through separate agreements governing custom training programs.

10. Certification Appeals

Learners may appeal designated certification decisions.

Appeals must be submitted through procedures established by ITAC.

Where appropriate, certification appeals may be reviewed by a three-member review committee consisting of:

  • One representative appointed by ITAC;
  • One subject matter expert appointed by ITAC;
  • One qualified reviewer proposed by the learner and approved by ITAC.

The committee's decision shall be final.

11. Certificate Revocation

ITAC reserves the right to suspend, invalidate, or revoke certificates at any time where evidence establishes that the holder:

  • Violated the Academic Integrity Policy;
  • Obtained certification through fraud or misrepresentation;
  • Shared accounts or credentials;
  • Altered certification records;
  • Distributed protected educational materials without authorization;
  • Engaged in unethical conduct;
  • Used acquired knowledge to support unlawful activities;
  • Violated applicable ITAC policies;
  • Damaged the integrity of the certification process.

Certification may be revoked regardless of when misconduct is discovered.

Revocation may occur after issuance and may apply to previously awarded certifications.

12. Effect of Revocation

Revoked certificates:

  • Are no longer considered valid;
  • May not be represented as active credentials;
  • May be removed from verification records;
  • May be marked as revoked within ITAC systems.

ITAC reserves the right to notify relevant parties of certification status where required by law or contractual obligation.

13. Limitation of Recognition

Recognition of ITAC certificates by employers, educational institutions, professional organizations, government agencies, or third parties is determined solely by those entities.

ITAC makes no representation or guarantee regarding external acceptance of any certificate.

14. Policy Modifications

ITAC reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time.

Updated versions become effective upon publication unless otherwise stated.
